about

Nativism is a reference to the current global struggle for identity and ownership and this debut CD addresses Groenland’s own mixed heritage and such global influences as African music, American jazz, European folk melodies and modern soundscapes. Paddy is equally likely to sing a Tanzanian initiation ceremony song after a soulful instrumental rendition of a broadway standard, to creating a mesmerizing cinematic tapestry with guitar and loops.
